To begin: 1. First choose a fastener type from the "Type" dropdown. 2. Once you have chosen a type, you will be able to chose from a list of corresponding plating designations, which will appear in the "Plating Designation" dropdown. 3. Once you have chosen a type and a plating designation, the system will display the compliancy results. Note: The Type "S" and "SL" fasteners (without plating) are categorized two ways. Those on " List A "are compliant using exemption for up to 0.35% lead in steel. All others are compliant with no exemptions.
